Stunning set of cased brass apothecary scales with weights

Here is a beautiful set of brass scales in a wooden and glass case complete with a set of brass weights. This is a very unusual yet very precise weighing instrument. These are known as apothecary scales, more commonly used by chemists from the turn of the 20th Century. The scales are in magnificent condition, as is the oak case that features a lift up front panel to give access to the scales. These would make a super display in a kitchen, bathroom or office environment. Collect from Sunderland only please due to fragility of the item. Selling for first £75. No offers please.
