Antique Mahogany Cased Arch Topped Bracket Clock, Circa

Antique Mahogany cased arch topped bracket clock, with some lovely inlaid detailing, circa ’s. This clock is marked Made in England, but has a look of the German manufacturer Gustav Becker about it. The front has thick bevelled glass which opens to winding holes on the easy to see white dial. Below the dial is a lovely detailed inlay of a rough diamond shape with what looks like a crest of some sort. The clock is raised on brass bun feet. This used to belong to my grandparents. It has a nice sounding gong from what I remember though I haven’t tested it. I believe it still works, but it might need a little TLC to get it back into good working order. Certainly all the bits are there! The case in in very good solid condition. It comes with a winding key and pendulum. Approx. dimensions – Width at bottom 9” Height 12 ½” Depth from bottom 5” These are all approximate sizes. There is a slight etching on the back of the inside cover which from what I can make out says A M. A beautiful clock for someone to own.

VICTORIAN OAK CASED CHIMING MANTLE CLOCK

This is a Victorian wooden cased chimes mantel clock - i am not an expert but the wood appears to be oak, and it has a glass panelled door. It has large dimensions of 13" in height x 10.5" in width x 7" deep - it weighs approx 6.5kg unpacked. Unfortunately i have lost the key to this clock, but the last time it was in use it was in working order - however as i cannot guarantee that this is still the case, then it is being sold as spares or repairs. The wooden clock casing is generally in good order, with only minor wear and tear to the extremities (corners, edges, surfaces), but there is no damage to the wood. For sale is my Oak cased Grandfather clock. It is fully working including date mechanism and is being used on a daily basis and is in very good presentable condition with no woodworm that I can see, also the face is virtually unmarked and in excellent condition. To give a little provenance on the history, the clock has the name William Evans from Great Malvern. I did a little research and it appears he traded in the years .
