Young female border collie
Only rehoming as she's not 100% around children, she's working bred, 16 month old. She has a lovely sweet temperament generally, she has a good recall when out walking and a very strong herding instinct, only problem being, we no longer keep sheep and she's constantly herding my daughter. She's not malicious, but always herding round then running in nipping at my daughters boots tripping her up, I feel she would benefit from a bit more training and to be a working dog where there's no children to take her attention. It's a sad sale as we and especially my daughter adores her but I can't risk her nipping nor cope with tears when she catches my daughters ankles. She will live in or out, currently out during the day and goes into her cage at night. She's slender build long haired, very fast and energetic. She's fine around other dogs, was good around our sheep when we had them and fine around cattle. She barks at trespassers and anyone unknown to her walking on local footpath but never goes near them. She prefers being outdoors and stays nearby, always comes back to a whistle. Sorry about the photo, it's the only one I have at the moment. Read More
