The Books were a limited edition of and this one is especially rare with one of the actual patterns created for the book. £40 (Collectors item with real fly from the book). The book alone cost £60 new Steve’s idea was to produce a work not only about the flies that these people tie but also about their lifestyles and ambitions. Steve has been meticulous in designing this work, not only from the selection of flytyers who, as Steve states, are ‘the leaders in their field’ but design, layout and paper selection; everything is top shelf. Details about   Book of the Horse-Sidney's famous Book of

Third edition example of Sidney's famous and all-encompassing book on all matters equine. This was printed in the mid to late s and has the bookplate (ex libris) of Sir Charles Brownlow. I bought it from an antiquarian book seller for a small fortune. My wife and I have enjoyed it but are minimising our library and want it to find a good home. The colour plates alone sell for above £40 (there are 28 of these) and many plain prints, but I couldn't bring myself to start slicing up such a fine book. It is in very good condition for its age, the one defect can be seen in one of the attached photos; a tear at the frontispiece. Crucially for such a volume there are no missing pages. Thank you. Can be collected from near Dover (no P+P).
