Combination Launch Trolley / Road Trailer for a Dinghy / Boat

The Launch Trolley is made by RAPIDE, is galvanised and suitable for a 10 to 14 ft boat. It is adjustable to a specific boat length and hull shape so should be suitable for a variety of boats. it has nearly new pneumatic rubber tyres and is generally in very good condition as it has been stored in a garage. The matching Road Trailer is also by RAPIDE. It does require checks and possibly new suspension as I have never used it on the road and it was on it's side in the garage for more than 5 years. The tyres have been given new tubes in the last few weeks and the rest is all solid metal work with galvanised mud guards. A mast crutch is fitted. The appearance could be greatly improved by a repaint job. It has the potential for transformation into a bargain full Combi Trolley trailer with little effort. Boat trailer launching and recovery bar. I made this for my yacht trailer to save getting the rear axle of my vehicle in water when launching and recovering. It folds in half for easy stowage when travelling and assembles without tools to 4.7 metres long (15.5 ft). On a typical 30% sloping slipway this will gain you about four to five feet extra depth before you submerge your rear axle. It's made of 40mm square tube 3mm wall thickness and one half is galvanised, the other half painted. (Just what I had available) It would also be a good starting point if anyone just wants to build a small trailer. Road Trailer and Launching Trolley for a sailing Dinghy similar to a 470 etc. I used it for a little Rib. The road Trailer had new wheels, hubs and bearings a couple of years ago and I'd say it's not been more than 30miles since. It was all stripped back and painted in silver Hamerite. The launching Trolley could do with tidying up a little, to be honest, but it's all in sound condition structurally.

420 sailing boat dinghy project with trailer and launching trolley

For sale is my old 420 sailing dinghy. This boat is a small project but comes with sails, trailer and launching trolley. It was in use a couple of seasons ago, but has not been used since and hence it looks rather 'the worse for wear'. I have not used the trailer on the road, and imagine it would need a service before this would be recommended, so the boat is for collection. However this is a very cheap, straightforward project for somebody to get on the water, as a good clean up will be the main thing needed initially! I'm keen to pass it on to someone who will get use out of it though. The whole package is yours for £300 ono. The boat is located at Killyleagh.
