Boat trailer launching and recovery bar. I made this for my yacht trailer to save getting the rear axle of my vehicle in water when launching and recovering. It folds in half for easy stowage when travelling and assembles without tools to 4.7 metres long (15.5 ft). On a typical 30% sloping slipway this will gain you about four to five feet extra depth before you submerge your rear axle. It's made of 40mm square tube 3mm wall thickness and one half is galvanised, the other half painted. (Just what I had available) It would also be a good starting point if anyone just wants to build a small trailer. 420 sailing boat dinghy project with trailer and launching trolley

For sale is my old 420 sailing dinghy. This boat is a small project but comes with sails, trailer and launching trolley. It was in use a couple of seasons ago, but has not been used since and hence it looks rather 'the worse for wear'. I have not used the trailer on the road, and imagine it would need a service before this would be recommended, so the boat is for collection. However this is a very cheap, straightforward project for somebody to get on the water, as a good clean up will be the main thing needed initially! I'm keen to pass it on to someone who will get use out of it though. The whole package is yours for £300 ono. The boat is located at Killyleagh.
