Gorgeous Blue Roan Blagdon Gelding

This is Smurf Standing approx 13hh Fully inoculated Wormed Registered & passported with CHAPS (Orions Shining Star) Blue Roan Blagdon Gelded Being shown successfully inland Smurf is a fab little guy who is rising 2, I think he is a later foal just due to the way he is. I bought him after seeing his advert online as a rising 3yr old colt standing at 14hh! When I completed the 5hr drive to get to him I saw he was actually an ill treated tiny young pony......I wasn't going to bring him back as I don't want to just collect them however what I witnessed while there made me load him up with the intention of getting him straight & going from there. He has been gelded with me, passported & registered with CHAPS and microchipped, jabbed and up to date with his feet which are just trimmed. He is a seriously good looking, loving boy who I have absolutely fallen in love with but as much as it breaks my heart he is not going to make the height I want or need. The vet & I believe he will be approx hh fully grown but built like a tank as he has huge knees! He loads & baths like a pro, I've taken him out in hand showing both local & championship level and he's done exceptional always placing in the ribbons. He moves straight & correctly. He attended a national youngstock show Dec winning 5 out of 6 of his classes (placed 2nd in 6th class) also bringing home a championship & reserve championship title from the evening performances. He is walked out & he's awesome in traffic! We get lorries, busses, motorbikes, tractors literally everything & he just doesn't even care! The only one thing I've found that made him jump was a temporary roadworks sign that was bright yellow as he came round a corner one day which all he did was jump. He's never while being led or inhand reared at me, bucked or kicked EVER. I can literally do anything to him and he is fab! My children have led him around. I think when the time is right he will make an awesome show cob both ridden or inhand and is perfect for driving too. He will come with any rugs I have at the point of sale for him. He is a very spoilt boy, I want the same kind of home for him that I provide as a minimum as he deserves to never know the nonsense he had to come from again. Grue (Gruesome) hadn't had a good start before I bought him. Grue had to be clipped as he was riddled with mites and fleas, he has now been treated and is filling out nicely. He has amazing feather (when it grows back) and unusual face markings. He loves to be groomed and will happily stand for hours. He is a little bit sensitive about his feet but will stand for the farrier. He is still entire but is very quiet and shows no stallion tendencies. Passported. May part exchange for a younger foal. Caddie is 15.1hh maybe slightly bigger and still growing 3 rising 4 year old mare. shes very pretty and has 4 white socks. shes been lightly backed and is riding away but has been turned away for winter with just the odd ride here and there. she has walk, trot and canter and is very eager to please for a youngster, she hacks alone and in company and will go first or last. she is good with traffic, good to catch and comes to call. she lives out and is barefoot, she picks up all 4s and is good for the farrier. she loads onto a trailer and stands when asked, she has seen cars, tractors,diggers, push bikes, trailers and is not bothered due to being brought up in a farming area. she has very good ground manners as she has been handled since 4 months old and ties up etc good to groom and tack up. she is not a novice ride due to her age and i can not stress this enough, i have had people messaging to see if she would suit their novice daughter etc, she is a 3 year old that needs bringing into work and the right education, she has so much potential in any sphere and people need to respect that i'm not selling to a novice for the horses sake I have owned Caddie since a foal and this is a very hard decision to make and will break my heart. however owning so many horses and having a full time job isnt doable and i wont be able to give caddie the riding she needs this year so i have come to the decision to sell as its in her best interest some of the picture included are old and as a foal/yearling. she has a green passport and is registered as Llechid aerona du, has derwen and nebo lines. 5* home is a must for Caddie, no dealers or day dreamers. Sad sale due to health and family commitments. Very friendly and inquisitive character with fabulous paces, shape and willing to learn to jump (I have not jumped for 30 years so only tried small so far in pictures but have seen him jump higher with other riders). Quick learner. I find he enjoys riding out hacking around countryside combined with riding in a menage. Great to look after in the stable. I think he would best suit a pony club / riding club home or hunter or regular hack but not a novice ride as 5 rising 6 so still has a lot to learn and has done little groundwork. I currently estimate him to be about 148cm /14.2hh, I am told he will make about 15hh so could suit a keen teenager or adult / teen share. I hack him out mainly on his own and sometimes in company. He does still look at things he has not experienced before, but so far I can always ride him by them. Hacked out across country on farm tracks so used to open spaces, and field tracks. Good with other horses. Good to shoe. Loves being brushed. Excellent stable manners. Always comes up to you when its time to come in from his field.
