Up to date with worming, teeth back and injections been done in past few months. this mare is a chunk of a weight carrier at 14hh. Lots of bone And feather. Loves to jump and hack, needs an adult who is an experienced in the saddle as only vice is she can be strong. Has been rode by a child under supervision in a school and on hacks but can be to strong when excited. Child can hack out in a group and proved sensible. Stunning Blagdon Cob Mare History We bought Mary from a dealer for my 60-something year old mum to hack. She had a high worm burden and wasn't up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. We have now rectified this. She is passported at 14.1hh and 8 years old but she is more like 13.3hh, very wide and chunky. Good bits Mary is great out hacking she will go first or last, rides out in a group or on her own. She is never silly in open spaces even when other horses are cantering or galloping in front of her, she is a forward ride and not a plod. She is green in the school which we have been working on, she is very willing to learn, she pops a small jump and lunges and is just getting the hang of voice commands. She has just started showing, ridden and in hand which she really enjoys. She can be left for weeks not ridden then get on and ride and she is fine. She is great for the farrier and dentist and enjoys a bath. She is very funny and makes us all laugh daily, loves to pull funny faces, she is cheeky and has a fantastic character. She is a stunning looking Mare with a beautiful mane and tail, we have clipped her legs but when grown she has lovely feathers also. Bad bits Mary can be very strong, this is mostly on the ground. If she decides that she wants to go a certain way she can drag you, this is not all the time just odd occasions. Sometimes on a hack she can become strong if she spots a juicy clump of grass. We have noticed that the more she's in work the less this happens. She is great in traffic but is very wary of farm machinery, we have been working on this, she does nothing nasty, just turns away and goes forward a few steps. She can be mouthy but think this is more of an 'age' thing. She is wary of being clipped but our clipper man is patient and she is getting better but we do need to twitch her to do her legs. Reason For Sale Mum has just been diagnosed with a bone problem which her specialist has told her that any fall or bad jolt could result in broken bones. She is now not riding Mary as she is worrying about her pulling and damaging her. We are looking for a 10* home for her as she is very loved and has stole our hearts, this has been a very tough decision but we are wanting to do what is best for her, and she needs to be out having fun. We would like her to go to a teenager or adult that will be able to further her potential as we are sure she will do fantastic as a show pony. Me and mum are both 5'6" and we have had a 5'11" rider on her and they didn't look out of place as she is very wide. Appaloosa Mare 7yrs old in Drybrook

Very sad sale of my 7 yr. old Appaloosa mare because I do not have the time or experience to take her forward, and she is wasted with me, she needs a competent young person or light weight adult and she will then go on to excel in many equine activities I am sure. She went away to be re started in the summer with the excellent Frankie price equine but has only been out hacking with me since she has been back. She has just had her dentist visit, (no sedation) and her feet done (she is barefoot wearing front boots) she is up to date with her vaccinations and worming, and has had a full physio check, she has her passport. She has a wonderful temperament with good manners on the ground, she can be cheeky at times but without malice and she is never nasty. She is good in traffic, can be ridden out with others or alone, she is in at night and out during the day at present, she likes the company of other horses and in her previous home she was out with a few others but at present she is next to other horses but separated by tape. I'm having to put my gorgeous grey year old pure ID mare by star kingdom up for sale due to not having enough time that she deserves due to having 2 young ones and job commitments. She has got a wonderful affectionate temperment, no vices, she has got the potential to go far with a very teachable attitude.
