Blackstar HT Metal 5H and Metal 112 Cabinet

Great little 5w head and speaker for rock (the 'metal' in the product name suggests a limited focus, but this is really just marketing fluff). Surprisingly it offers some good blues and even jazzy tones (yes, you read right... jazz! Using the clean channel and something like a gretsch, it's quite a reasonable sound). However, dial up the gain, foot on the monitor and you're talking head banging country! Nice features include: - Stereo reverb - All valve - Emulated speaker/headphone outs - Effects loop - MP3/line in Contains: - 1 x HT Metal 5 Head - 1 x Metal x12 Speaker Cabinet - 1 x footswitch - 1 x power cable - 1 x jack cable to connect head to speaker This is in excellent condition - just over a year from new (one careful owner) and some occasional home use only. Selling as no time or space to crank it up so going to waste (relegated to a cupboard in the kids playroom). Fantastic sounding guitar 60watt valve amp does have a few scuff marks but nothing wrong functionally at all. In terms of funtionality sounds as good as new. Fantastic on the 2 x drive channels. Effects send and return..would highly recommend sticking effecrs through that way as it sounds amazing. I am more a funk player so gone back to a fender. This amp is amazing on cleans and distorted but lends itself better to heavier styles. Very versatile though...I genuinely am at odds with selling but think for my Style the fender better suited.
