For sale is my Blackstar HT-5C which is made in Korea. This is the non reverb version, but it has a great effects loop for use of modulation or reverb pedals. This amp has both a clean channel and a overdrive channel, with it's ISF feature that allows your tones to sound British clockwise direction or American Anti Clockwise direction. It's powered by a 1x ECC83 and 1x 12BH7 valves and it's got a 10" Celestion G10N-40 Speaker which sounds very good. You can get very nice clean tones to some great classic rock tones with many different tone options. You can even connect this combo up to an extension cab, with it's additional 8 ohm or 16 ohm inputs. Includes power cable and a footswitch for changing channels. For sale is my Blackstar HT5 combo (non-reverb, I prefer using a pedal). Whilst the amp is in excellent cosmetic condition, it takes a while to warm up (a few minutes) which I am reliably informed is a valve issue and would be rectified by replacement, a simple job. This is a fantastic piece of kit which sounds top quality. Very loud! Maybe not quite enough for gigging but it can hold its own for jam sessions and rehearsals. Local collection only. Mint, as new condition, works as new, comes with a £40 Blackstar padded cover. and owners manual with all reciepts, The HT-5 is the ultimate studio and practice amp, packing great valve tone and innovative features into a two channel, footswitchable format. The patented ISF circuit gives you infinite adjustment over the characteristics of the tone control network and takes you from the USA to the UK and anywhere in between. So now you can effectively design your own tone and finally find 'the sound in your head'. In making the HT-5 ideally suited to home and studio use, the aim was to develop a valve amp which sounded full and toneful even at the lowest volume level. With this in mind the Blackstar design team developed a brand new valve power amplifier topology. The HT-5 power amplifier is a low powered push-pull design which produces the crunch and break-up characteristics of a traditional 100W output stage, but at a much lower volume. This is achieved by the use of a 12BH7 dual triode in push-pull configuration producing 5 Watts output, which is rich in valve harmonics and compression.
