She is NOT a novice ride. She was brought by a friends mum as a happy hacker type but she is not happy and needs a job!! She has done abit of everything in life but has been used mainly for hacking, hunting and the odd plod in the school for the past 3 years. She was hunted by adults and children as young as 14; when being used by children was placed in a waterford as could get abit strong nothing maliscous. She is very much a follower. She does need work doing in the school but she is such a willing mare i dont think it would take her long. Has a lovely jump on her, doesnt pull your arms off going into the fence, has been jumped at home by a 12 year old with no issues. Lucy has never been out hacking on her own with us only ever with 1 other or in groups so I DO NOT know what she is like. Whilst out with 1 other she can be spooky and nappy. However, when out in a group she is a lovely calm ride. She is good to shoe, bath, groom etc Loads onto lorries and trailers Lucy is NOT a novice ride she can be mareish and nap. 14.2hh Welsh section D chestnut mare in Barry

I have for sale my 11year old typical chestnut mare. She will hack alone or in company. She is forward going. Currently ridden by an adult. Rode by a novice teen in the menage. She is excellent to clip and shoe. Treats are needed during summer months to catch. She loves schooling work and has potential for dressage but she is wasted by me as I just want to hack. Used to heavy traffic, lorries, motorbikes etc but can spook at tiny things. She doesnt rear or buck. She is up to date with vaccs, teeth. She is showing great promise in her schooling and can work on an outline and also some basic dressage (turn on the forehand, shoulder-in and leg-yield). However she needs someone with time and experience to continue her training as is still green in some areas. She has jumped a small course of fences whilst being ridden but has the potential to go far bigger with the right training.
