This advert is for a black metal framed sofa bed (futon). When put into the flat position, it makes a full size (6’4 x 4’6) double bed. When put into the upright position, it makes a nice large sofa. In fact, if you have a child sleeping on it, you can leave it in the sofa position and use it as a single bed:-) The frame is black metal and quite simple to operate - just pull out from the wall, lift the two handles along the front edge and it hinges to lie flat. Being metal, it is of course very strong, with lots of support under the mattress. The blue and cream striped mattress/sofa cushion is firm without being too hard, to give a good compromise between sitting and sleeping comfort. Chair seats 3 people (4 if small) when converted to a bed, sleeps 2 people comfortably. Chair is used, but sturdy and has lots of life in it. However, I would recommend use in a spare room or for occasional guests rather than for everyday chair to bed conversion. Given the use, the mattress is discoloured but looks very presentable when covered with a throw. See both options in pictures. 2 screws also need replacing.
