I have come to the hard decision of selling my loving mare due to loosing confidence. She is lovely to handle from the ground in all ways and lives in or out great with farrier etc Unfortunately over the past few months she has developed a bad habit of bucking when asked for a canter. She does not do this in a walk or trot but since the last few bucks have been enough to have me off I have got to the point where I don't want to keep trying and risk injury to myself or completely loose my confidence which what I feel is happening while I have her. She has been used for a happy hacker while Iv had her (just over a year) and is great with roads / lorries / machinery and not at all the spooky type. She doesn't bolt off or want to zoom off with her rider at any point on a hack but Iv got to the point where I dare not ask for a canter for fear of her bucking. Dora is sweet and loving. She always tries her best to please and is a real confidence giver. She has no vices. She comes to call, and is excellent with the dentist, farrier, clipper and vet. She is easy to load and easy to do in all ways. She hacks out alone or in company, is bombproof, great with traffic and responds to voice commands. She is a lovely ride and is always safe and sensible with perfect manners in open fields, on the road and in the manege. Although she is young, she is not green and will not pull, bolt, buck, rear or do anything silly. I bought her after I lost my confidence and she has been absolutely marvellous in getting me back in the saddle. She has had a full clip as she came to me in poor condition, but has full feathers and a thick mane. She is up to date with vaccinations and worming, lives in or out and can be ridden with or without shoes... basically Dora is as true and honest as they come! Mare is believed to be 14 years of age and used as a happy hack and broodmare in the past by her previous owners. She is good to catch, load, brush and with the farrier and has been an excellent mother, she is passported and wormed upto date. Ebony has come on in leaps and bounds since I bought her last year and due to needing to downsize she is now for sale. She is rising 4 and a very confident little girl, she has the most loving and affectionate nature. She can still be a bit nervous around her back end, as I was pregnant when I bought her and now have a newborn I just haven't had the time I'd have liked to spend with her. He prev owners said she was backed whilst with them, since I bought her she has been turned away to mature. Tacked up last week for first time with no issues and accepted a rider. She only mounted from block and sat on briefly. Doesn't kick or bite, turned out in a headcollar but never an issue to catch. Heartbreaking sale of a stunning 6year old gypsy cob mare. Dapple grey standing at roughly 14.3hh. She has lots of mane & tail, unfortuneately her feather has got bog burnt due to being turned out but this will soon grow back. Not a nasty bone in her body, but she does know her size. She is sold from the field & lack of time forces sale due to a new baby, this decision hasn't been made lightly but this mare will be something spectacular in the right hands, she has had a foal with previous owners & will be an amazing asset to anyone as a broodmare. She has been used for driving but not been in work for quite sometime due to pregnancy etc. I was planning on using this great mare for not just driving but for riding & also showing. It's with great regret that I am now giving up horses as I just don't have the time to give them what they need & it's so disappointing to see them as field ornaments. She needs a confident experienced owner to bring out the best in her, she isn't for a novice. She has recently had her teeth done, wormed etc. I wouldn't say she loves her baths, she will dance around at first but soon settles down, never silly or dangerous. POLLY. Lovely 14.3hh 4 years ride and drive cob mare. Polly has been with us for over a year and has been no trouble at all. She was a livery horse but has recently been part exchanged for a jumping pony. Polly is a lovey sweet natured mare, not mareish at all, good to do in all ways, picks all 4 feet up. will stand all day long to be groomed and messed around with. Good in traffic and out hacking, brill to catch,clip,load and have feet trimmed etc. Hasn't been shod with us. Never kicks or bites etc. Polly has recently been brought back into work and was an absolute star to ride. The type of horse that doesn't need regular work but can still get back on her and she's ready to go. Never bucks or rears etc. 3 nice paces in the school but does need more schooling. Liberty-Belle. (Libby) Libby is 14.2hh and is 12 years old. She is a gypsy cob. She is bay and white. Libby is up for sale due to me not having much confidence no more, no fault of her own. I have owned Libby since she was 4 years old, and I have watched her grow throughout the years and she's turned into a lovely pony. She is not a beginners pony as can be strong at times however she is currently in a snaffle. Libby has a lovely character and she loves to learn new things, she's can be nervous at times but if you are patient with her she will do as asked. I have taken Libby showjumping in the past and she was brilliant, we did a 40cm clear round, however she has jumped 55cm at home. Although Libby has loads of pros to her she also has a few cons. Recently when I have been picking her feet out she has a habit of kicking out at the side (both back hooves). She loves learning new things in the field and loves hacks, she is better hacking with company than being alone however I think this is a confidence issue with her. No time wasters.
