Ebony has come on in leaps and bounds since I bought her last year and due to needing to downsize she is now for sale. She is rising 4 and a very confident little girl, she has the most loving and affectionate nature. She can still be a bit nervous around her back end, as I was pregnant when I bought her and now have a newborn I just haven't had the time I'd have liked to spend with her. He prev owners said she was backed whilst with them, since I bought her she has been turned away to mature. Tacked up last week for first time with no issues and accepted a rider. She only mounted from block and sat on briefly. Doesn't kick or bite, turned out in a headcollar but never an issue to catch. Ebony needs someone willing to put in time and effort with her and she will pay you back tenfold Showy correct paces, she will be someone's pony of a lifetime. She is sold from field as I have no one small enough to ride her. Project Dales x Fell mare 8 years excel on roads not spooky

I have come to the hard decision of selling my loving mare due to loosing confidence. She is lovely to handle from the ground in all ways and lives in or out great with farrier etc Unfortunately over the past few months she has developed a bad habit of bucking when asked for a canter. She does not do this in a walk or trot but since the last few bucks have been enough to have me off I have got to the point where I don't want to keep trying and risk injury to myself or completely loose my confidence which what I feel is happening while I have her. She has been used for a happy hacker while Iv had her (just over a year) and is great with roads / lorries / machinery and not at all the spooky type. She doesn't bolt off or want to zoom off with her rider at any point on a hack but Iv got to the point where I dare not ask for a canter for fear of her bucking. She is otherwise a good girl but needs a more confident rider to tell her off rather than be afraid of her when she does a buck. It might be something that can be solved with reschooling!?!?!?! 6 year old 13hh Fell cross gelding - Companion/Project

I am offering for sale my 6 year old fell cross gelding. Bertie was bought as a companion 3 years ago for company for my injured horse who needed a quiet life. Over the 3 years with us he has been a companion for different horses. He will turn out with any horse or pony and is no trouble at all. He is good to do, lives out all year round although we do rug and hard feed him in winter. He is never sick or sorry, good to do in all ways but does prefer a sensitive person as he can be quite nervy. He will stay alone in field or stable and is not remotely bothered if another horse is taken away from him. We backed and broke Bertie 2 years ago. He is extremely sharp, requires an experienced rider. he was ridden away for around 3 months but due to time commitments i could not continue his education and he hasn't been ridden since. With 3 other ponies all in work we do not have the time to bring him back into work now. We have taken Bertie to a couple of in hand shows where he has always been in the ribbons! He will happily stand on the trailer all day, just enjoys being out. I am selling as a companion due to how sharp he can be ridden. I would not recommend him for a child, due to being nervy I am open to sensible offer because of the negative points above.
