The saddle is unbadged but looks very like an Ideal and the stamp under the flap reads 'spring tree made in England'. This is a lovely little saddle which has been used on our 13.2 pony. It kept our young jockeys securely in place as for many years, for a various disciplines including dressage, jumping, hunting and lots of hacking. The Walsall stamp can just be made out, I believe the saddler was Don Burnell. There is no damage to the leather and all stitching is intact.  The saddle has been regularly cleaned and kept indoors. It measures 8.5 inches from d to d. Comes complete with a pair of 4 inch stirrup irons with white tread, and 54 inch stirrup leathers which are old but still have plenty of wear in them.  Jeffries stamp is just visible on them. Very comfy good solid saddle. X wide fits our 14.2 welch sec d but it's just slightly too long in the back, was used on a 15 hands cob Good condition apart from one strap missing but we bought it like it and i have reflected this in the price and saddle repairer said would only be 12 pounds to fit new strap but had other straps checked and stitched so all secure. Only had it 4 weeks and paid 230 and only reason for sale is we've realised it's slightly too long for our mare but saddle fitter said shame because it is a good saddle. We need to sell so can buy another so reduced price. Good price as now need quick sale
