BLACK BEAUTY!!! tb gelding

***LEAN BURN**** (burnie) is a 16hh 11 year old tb gelding. dark bay- pretty much black he was previously raced for 7 years coming off the track around a year ago, since then he was loaned out to a young girl and done a bit of show jumping and dressage then was left for a couple of months before we brought him. he is good to shoe, clip, teeth, load etc. we brought burnie for me and my mother, slightly underweight and with rain scald, he is now in good condition, however he isn't going to be suitable for my mother to ride and i don't have the time, we haven't hacked but were told he is good to hack alone and in company,(isn't a normal spooky tb type at all) we haven't ridden burnie ourselves however had someone ride him this week and he was good, few bucks but overall behaved, he will have a buck when excited so definitely NOT A NOVICE RIDE !!! we want burnie to go to a 5 * forever home who will take good care of him and get him out doing things because he loves his work such a gem to have on the yard. open to vettings, trainers welcome etc NO LOANS/LWVTB/ will be hard to see this lovely boy go but we really are not the right people for him feel free to message or call with any questions you may have. 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. 15.2hh, Black Tb Gelding, 13yrs. Sam is a beautiful horse, with a lovely laid back nature. My daughter has competed him in ODE, Dressage, sj and Hunter Trials, at which he improved lots last year, having been placed 1st, twice in one day at Southcott, at 80 and in the pairs, where he jumped mainly 90 jumps, he was placed 5th in the 80 at Port Elliott in a class of over 60 horses, and then 4th at St Leonards, Launceston, ODE. He is good to load, and happy to stand in trailer, or tied up whilst at shows. He is not suitable for a novice as he is quite strong when out with company, and a typical tb, in that will spook at nothing. He is good with traffic, inc tractors, lorries. A beautiful pony with a beautiful temperament to match Moves nicely Jumps Hacks alone and in company Doesn't need riding daily as doesn't hot up (even jumping) in fact I've left him as long as 3 weeks and hopped on and he's no different to if ridden regularly This pony has a brain and likes to use it. He'd suit a home with variety wanting to compete and have some fun. I imagine would be a nice asset to a competitive pony club home or a small adult as an allrounder. I've attended clinics away from home on him in indoor arenas. The most he's ever done when excited is begin passaging -which is a talent in itself as he's never been taught and is no way ready to learn these advanced movements but clearly it comes naturally to him!! He has a GOOD hind leg! Shown as a yearling at county level Never bucked or reared but can be sensitive so requires a quiet rider A straightforward gentleman to handle he lunges like a dream and is never bolshy or bargey. Sambo is a lovely laid back horse, he has done all pc activities with my 13 yr daughter, and been hunting on fun rides and to the beach. He hacks alone or in company and is good with traffic inc tractors.. He is a fun horse and would suit a junior moving from ponies on to horses, he will build confidence with jumping and xc, and not fazed by water or ditches. He is quite happy tied to the trailer when out at shows. He has lovely stable manners and dosent mind dogs around his legs. He is good to shoe, box and clip.
