JOHN - Deytheur John. 14.3hh still growing 4yo gelding. Solid stamp, a foot in each corner type. Sound and very straight mover. Unfortunately has capped his hocks as a yearling and will always be apparent. However this does not effect horses in any way or their performance hence price. John is very forgiving to his riders, you can double bounce / wobble, pull on his mouth accidentally, flap on him, he's not bothered. A very genuine honest all-rounder. John is very honest into a fence he's not bothered by fancy fillers or poles and happily jumps whatever you ask of him. He's great for a beginner or advanced rider looking to compete at pony club, gymkhana, dressage and would excel in any sphere. John is every parent / teenagers dream pony. He's super safe to ride, a good doer, has a cheeky attitude and makes you laugh. John is bombproof in the heaviest of traffic, he's not phased by farm machinery, he happily hacks out alone or in company. Although he is young he's not the spooky type who gets phased by anything and will be a great confidence giver for somebody looking for a safe happy hack / best friend. John remains safe and sensible in open fields, he happily goes thought water and happily steps it up a gear when made to. John is a fun loving boy who loves being made a fuss of. He has previously taken part at local showing shows including The Royal Welsh. He has only had 3 owners including his breeder. My friend owned him from a yearling until I purchased him. ***LEAN BURN**** (burnie) is a 16hh 11 year old tb gelding. dark bay- pretty much black he was previously raced for 7 years coming off the track around a year ago, since then he was loaned out to a young girl and done a bit of show jumping and dressage then was left for a couple of months before we brought him. he is good to shoe, clip, teeth, load etc. we brought burnie for me and my mother, slightly underweight and with rain scald, he is now in good condition, however he isn't going to be suitable for my mother to ride and i don't have the time, we haven't hacked but were told he is good to hack alone and in company,(isn't a normal spooky tb type at all) we haven't ridden burnie ourselves however had someone ride him this week and he was good, few bucks but overall behaved, he will have a buck when excited so definitely NOT A NOVICE RIDE !!! we want burnie to go to a 5 * forever home who will take good care of him and get him out doing things because he loves his work such a gem to have on the yard. open to vettings, trainers welcome etc NO LOANS/LWVTB/ will be hard to see this lovely boy go but we really are not the right people for him feel free to message or call with any questions you may have. A beautiful pony with a beautiful temperament to match Moves nicely Jumps Hacks alone and in company Doesn't need riding daily as doesn't hot up (even jumping) in fact I've left him as long as 3 weeks and hopped on and he's no different to if ridden regularly This pony has a brain and likes to use it. He'd suit a home with variety wanting to compete and have some fun. I imagine would be a nice asset to a competitive pony club home or a small adult as an allrounder. I've attended clinics away from home on him in indoor arenas. The most he's ever done when excited is begin passaging -which is a talent in itself as he's never been taught and is no way ready to learn these advanced movements but clearly it comes naturally to him!! He has a GOOD hind leg! Shown as a yearling at county level Never bucked or reared but can be sensitive so requires a quiet rider A straightforward gentleman to handle he lunges like a dream and is never bolshy or bargey. He's a polite pony. Good with farrier, travel, load, vet, catch, clip. Only for sale to the very best of homes and I will be ensuring that only suitable candidates view him as the pony comes first. I will not be allowing novices to rattle around on his back! (Unfortunately I am aware there are parents out there that believe their child can ride when they really can't and this is the sort of viewings I am trying to avoid!) He is in NO way a difficult ride but he is a sensitive pony and wouldn't appreciate an inconsiderate or novice rider on him. Although he would suit a dressage home he does like to get out of the School. He has a natural aptitude over poles and as this is not my forte we've not really explored this much but I do think he'd enjoy show jumping/combined training/hunting and more.
