Best of British design: Vintage Berry Piano
Remember when Britain had a solid manufacturing base? No, neither do I. But that's how old this piano is. hand made in the UK by an English family, Berry was the go to brand for aspiring musicians in the 40s and 50s. This particular series 538 is noted for having the longest possible strings that an upright can have - this design technique allowed lower notes to sound better This is more of an ornament than an instrument nowadays, it's unlikely to keep its tuning.
