Vintage Industrial Retro Metal desk table with 3 drawers bespoke custom made

A Gorgeous bespoke piece of furniture based on a s Teachers Desk, This is a one off design as all our pieces are slightly different in their design and build. We have fabricated a new top section from Galvanised steel (not cheap composite substitute) in two jointed sections in order to emulate the construction style of a vintage aircraft. The construction is to a professional standard, the metalwork is precision engineered using a plasma cutter, not a jigsaw to ensure clean and perfect jointing, the corners have been seam welded and all the edges finished so there are no sharp corners or rough edges. We have then added heavy industrial riveting along the seam edges. The drawer fronts have also been treated in the same manner with jointed panels to reflect the style throughout. The original s handles have been retained in order to preserve the character of this wonderful piece. The original timberwork has not ben over restored, just cleaned and waxed to retain a wonderful and original patina. We feel the contrast between wood and metal gives a fantastic overall effect making this a real statement piece, sure to enhance any home or Office. Victorian Reclaimed Scrub Plank Top Chic Shabby Industrial Dining Table his desk or dining table is a beautiful unique characteristic one-off piece of furniture made from an original Victorian table so the legs, most of the apron body and drawer are Victorian. It has had a chunky reclaimed plank top fitted. The legs and aprons (framework under the top) and drawer are mainly original dark finish. It's a beautiful colour as it looks black in some light, deep dark brown wood in others and almost has hints of aubergine in other light. It would fit in with any eclectic decor. A new strip has been added above the drawer but the rest appears to be original finish. We have cleaned this and waxed it so it highlights the beautiful history of shabby characteristics and it feels lovely to touch.The top currently is sanded and left ivery pale natural finish as in the scrubbed top effect though we will stain oil or wax this to suit you we would even paint the legs and aprons and drawer in the colour of your choice though they are beautiful as the are. the price as is. £190 With stained and wax or oiled top £205 With Painted legs etc. £220 This would make a lovely display unit for a boutique shop.
