Lab/Staff in need of new home born 1 march Rocky is a loving, affectionate and generally sleepy lab/staff. We have had him for 9 and a half years but unfortunately since our new baby arrived and since taking on a more demanding job, we haven’t been able to give him the attention and life he deserves/needs. So with regret we know we must find him a new home. He's a very contented and sleepy dog. He's happiest in his basket having his jowls stroked. He's ok with other dogs (particularly females) and particularly enjoys the pack environment. However, he doesn’t seem to get on with spaniels. He's never bitten another dog but has chased the odd spaniel in the past. He's great with people and has proved to be a loving and patient friend for our one year old son who is quite rough with him. He's very greedy, he'll do anything for a biscuit, which is great for recall. On the whole he's a very confident and settled dog who is great in crowds and with new people.
