ANTIQUE STRADIVARIUS COPY VIOLIN... Circa

The violin measures approx inches (555mm) long overall, (13 inches (330mm) along the body, not including the bump at the base of the neck) and has a beautiful two piece mahogany back, and a pine soundboard. It is in good condition, with very light wear in keeping with its age, (please see photos). There is no woodworm. The makers label inside reads ANTONIUS STRADIVARIUS FECIT CREMONA comes with its bow. Seam on the back of the violin is slightly raised and needs attention,if I were to keep the violin I would have this looked at and also buy a new case. Please see the photos for condition and type. Nice, old and interesting violin with a beautifully flamed back (see pictures) and is lined and full blocked. The label reads "Jean Baptiste. Vuillaume a Paris 3 rue Demours - Ternes BV") I dont know if it is really a French violin. Unfortunatelly there is a repaired soundpostcrack at the back. Please make sure that you see all the photos.
