Beautiful Large, Shabby Chic Farmhouse Dresser

The dresser has rubbed down to provide a suitable key... and then a coat of primer followed by three coats of a lovely subtle cream. I have then applied a dark wax to give that aged effect. The top of the dresser base has been sanded back and re-waxed using Bri-wax. The base itself has shelves in for extra storage. The paint work has been lightly distressed for the real shabby chic feel. Finally, all the paintwork has been given two coats of clear wax for protection.
