Poppy is a lovely, sweet-natured approx. 14hh 6yr old coloured cob mare. She is a responsive, forward-going ride (with good brakes!) and has been schooling nicely through the summer in our field. She has in the past been out jumping and has done cross country too, although has very much gone back to basics with myself. Poppy is a sensitive soul who needs a patient and caring new owner to get the very best from her - she is a genuine, honest pony who constantly strives to please and loves her work, but occasionally does need reassurance. She will live in or out with both mares and geldings, and is great to handle, bath, catch, box and fab with the farrier - she stands at the side of a busy road to have her feet trimmed with no problems at all. Brookvale Golden Sundae (Goldie) is a very pretty palomino pony, 10 yr old mare, hh, who is a Welsh x Arab, however her breeding is mainly dominated by the British Riding Pony. Goldie's main discipline is dressage and has recently qualifying for the BYRDS Inter-Regionals this year; she consistently scores between 60% and 68%. Goldie has excellent bloodlines in particular the following dressage ones which include; Downland (mostly on her Sire's side), Bwlch Valentino, Bwylch Hill Wind, Twylands and Rotherwood Peepshow, Acrobat to name but a few of which you can read about on Dressage Ponies UK (DPUK) website. Lily is a very friendly 8 year old 14.1 hh coloured cob mare. She loves being around people, being groomed and made a fuss of. She is very good on the ground with grooming, clipping, shoeing etc. Lily has spent four years as a riding school pony which had led to her not being happy riding in a school situation. She mounts from the block and enjoys hacking out with other horses and is very good and unfazed in traffic, including large farm machinery.
