16hh Bright Bay Thoroughbred gelding, 9 years old f I am honest writing this does not come easily for me as I have owned ‘Mr.Magoo’ since he was 3 and I always thought he would stay with me. He will only go to a perfect long term home who want to look after his 'needs' before their ‘wants’. He has been bitless and barefoot nearly all his life and I wish him to stay this way at the very least. I ride him bareback, hacking, schooling, jumping no problems at all and recently he is being hacked out by novices in a treeless saddle which he is perfect in too Originally I bought Goo to event and it's safe to say he has the honesty and jump for it! Unfortunately, or as it turned out, fortunately, he slipped and broke him hock when he was nearing 4 yrs old. This changed both of our lives for the better and don’t be thinking any less of him, he has come back strong, in fact the accident gave him the much needed time to grow. At this time we discovered the world of natural healing which lead me to also realise I do not need metal in his mouth or on his feet to achieve all I wanted to with him. In the year it took him to fully recover we learned lots of clever tricks and grew a very close bond, he really is an absolute sweetheart who just wants to learn learn learn! From then til now he has been placed at dressage, showjumping and little ODEs, been to the beach many times and hacked just about everywhere! I made sure that in our first year together he experienced every kind of transport, bridge, stream, tunnel and gate so he is more than confident with all of these! And if we come across something hes not sure of I just tell him its ok and on we go. Goo has a cheeky and inquisitive nature but he is an absolute sweetheart and is easy to do in all respects, he has been handled by complete novices and was even hacked out (ride and lead) by a 4 year old girl! It is true that in the last year and a half he has not been ridden a great deal but that has not changed him at all and he is more than ready to continue his dressage/ jumping/ straightness training/ fun! with someone I would want to see where he will live and keep in touch to some extent, the last thing I want is for him to end up in the wrong hands! look forward to hearing from you:) Read More

Cross-Under Design - these straps are flat leather so sit comfortably against the horse rather than rolled leather which can be stiff, less comfortable and less supple. Noseropes Cross Over Bitless Bridle. This is a x over bitless bridle made from top quality 6mm braided rope with marine grade stainless steel rings. Fully machine washable just pop in a wash bag on a short cycle. The nose band height is fully ajustable. Can be used with normal or clip on rope reins. Available in a number of colours. padded nose wraps available. The x over works by putting pressure on the side of the face for turning and tightens around the head and poll for stopping. All horses need to trained into understanding about presssure and release when changing from a bitted bridle to a bitless.
