Barbie, 14.2h. Haflinger, 13 yrs, Mare - Hertfordshire

Barbie is a straight forward ride, she’s forward going and likes to please however her schooling is a work in progress. She hacks alone and in company, loves to jump and is safe and sensible in the school – has been ridden by all ages. Has seen busy roads and open countryside, just needs a confident rider in case she isn’t sure of something. Would suit a confident older child/teen or small adult to have a lot of fun with. Barbie does have arthritis in her hocks however this doesn’t stop her doing anything, she just needs physio every six months or so as she stiffens up. She has in the past bolted if horses she is with on a hack also run off (hasn’t done this for over 2 years now). She can also be strong if she’s excited, usually when jumping. Due to these things she isn’t suitable for a novice home. She is stabled at night and turned out individually or with one other (she’s a dominant mare that needs stability – can’t be in constantly changing herds). Has good manners on the ground and has been handled by children and adults without issue. Absolutely stunning mare for sale. Excellent to box, shoe, rug and catch. Very friendly but can be spooked easily, definitely not a novice ride. She's a perfect project for an experienced rider with plenty of time to bring on. She's very willing and will give anything a go, she has done some jumping and games. She's very fast and responds very well to voice commands. She really enjoys a hack alone or she loves company. Please read full advert before enquiring. Rising 6YO approx 11.2h Palomino Section A mare - Cui Burnet Rose (Fanta) for sale to a 10* knowledgeable home only. Full breeding - http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/cui+burnet+rose Lovely nature and amazing paces but nervous on the ground. She has improved significantly since my last advert and can now be caught without much fuss in the stable. She is beginning to quieten down and adjust to life with people and on a busy livery yard. Still needs a home who can work 1 to 1 with her and is calm, patient and will allow her to settle in and build up a relationship with new owners. She lives in or out but can be difficult to catch out of stable - we leave a head collar on with a 6 inch lead rope (as pictured and video'd) to catch her with minimal stress. She will usually come to a bucket where you can then grab the lead rope. Worn all tack and taken it all in her stride. Has started lunging and is getting to grips with it, yet to long rein. (video of her lunging available on request) Stood perfectly to have her mane pulled and plaited. Trimmed her face and ears with scissors with no issues. It seems to be catching her that is the main issue and sudden movements which may frighten her. Has been rugged and is fine with this. Has never kicked or bitten and is a genuinely nice pony, I just don't have the time for 1 to 1 with her. No dealers. Long term home wanted. Don't want her to be passed pillar to post because of her slight issues which I am sure she will overcome. She is a fabulous prospect in-hand or under saddle - Novice/open A's or possible show hunter or working hunter in the future. As stated above she is improving daily and I have no doubt that she will come round and settle down and be an amazing pony. She does love attention but is nervous so definitely no children. He can hack out alone or with company but can get a little strong and does buck going into canter, hence not being suitable for a novice. He doesn't really like schooling but makes a lovely happy hacker for the right person. This is a really hard sale for me as I loved him immediately but he's not right for me and needs to be out having fun.
