My five year old Caique needs a new home, he has not been DNA tested but we have always referred to Eddie as a boy. He is a fun, affectionate, happy go lucky bird. He gets on with other birds, but prefers his own company. We are rehoming due to no fault of his own, we just don't give him the time he needs on a daily basis. He cannot talk yet, but can mimic many household noises, like the microwave, phone, hair straighteners, smoke alarm. He can whistle the Addams family tune amongst many. He eats fruit and veg daily with seed in the evening. He was clipped about five months ago, his beak and nails need regular filing, he'll happily let you do this. He likes a shower and will happily sit on you shoulder all day. Used to household noises and going in the car. Used to dogs. Dislikes smokers. Read more
