My daughter is selling her Axolotl due to moving away for University. The Axolotl comes with the 54L Leddy tank. The tank - Aquarium Dimensions: 60 x 30 x 30 cm and the Aquarium Volume: 54 Litres. It comes with an LED 6w light, AquaEL 50w heater and an Internal PAT filter.* The heater is not needed but came with the tank. The axolotl is approximately 2 years old. I have two golden-eye/golden rare breed axolotls for sale – one male and one female – a breeding pair. Both are around 9inches long and are about 5 years old. (They live to be around 12 yrs so many years left!) I am having to re-home them due to sensitive skin and allergic reactions to the water treatment. Tried using gloves but occasionally they leak which is obviously an issue. They can be separated as axolotls don’t require companions. For the pair it is £50, or £30 each. They will come with all the required equipment they need – tweezers for feeding, water treatment, water test strips, axolotl pellets and frozen bloodworm, etc. They also come with a tank and unit, but if you don’t want these then that’s fine – just message me. Looking for the perfect new home for our little guy. Preferably looking for an owner with background knowledge and experience looking after axies as they are very particular and delicate creatues, almost extinct! So lots of time and attention is needed to promote a long and healthy life. He is just over 2 years old, very happy fabulous boy, very interesting to watch eat! He doesn't like the light too much so majority of his tank is to be in the dark all the time. The filter only to be on 1-2 hours a day too as he doesn't like it and can cause distress, which can lead to death.
