Old Avon dinghy for sale with Outboard Bracket. Watertight and airtight (the durable hypalon tubes on this dinghy hold air indefinitely) but has some patches on underside of floor and possibly one on the rear tube (although I suspect this may have been a factory-fitted sign which has faded). Outboard bracket is serviceable but has some corrosion issues. Valve on central inflatable seat replaced this year. All in all a perfectly usable dinghy which will probably still be giving good service long after the current batch of Chinese made PVC alternatives have been consigned to the bin ! Comes with a good foot pump, a stowage bag, floor panels, and an outboard mount, repair kit, and paddles. I have mounted small wheels at the sides of the engine mount, which do not interfere at all with the outboard operation, and are very useful for wheeling the dinghy up the shore once you've turned it over. The wheel fittings are corroded but could easily be replaced. I inflated the dinghy a few days ago and checked her 3 days later, by which time the rear segment was slightly soft. Read More
