A Very RARE find from the 70s in great working condition - this is a Mazzega Lamp for Murano designed by Carlo Nason - I think it is designed for fitting to a wall or ceiling but I have it set on a table as a side lamp - no damage - light works fine but it is not fitted with an in line switch which makes me think originally is was for a ceiling/wall fitting - I have found other lamps by Carlo Nason using similar colours and white opaque and clear glass but I have not been able to find this lamp on line yet. On offer: two beautiful régule figurines depicting a singer with guitar and a female singer. Both figurines are made with a great sense of detail and have a pleasant, cheerful look. They both stand on a white marble base and are made in France in the late 19th century. The general condition is good (see photos), only the gentleman has some minor signs of age, such as a missing finger. They are both coloured in various shades of bronze and have a beautiful patina. They are believed to be created by the French sculptor Ferrand and are titled 'Chanteur and Chanteuse'. The height of each is 23 cm.
