For auction: ceiling lamp composed of chrome-plated metal structure with Murano glass petals, created by the celebrated designer Carlo Nason for Mazzega.Origin: Italy - s10 Murano glass petals - Colour: Transparent white blending with light brown.Chrome-plated metal structure.The lamp is in excellent condition with some small traces of oxidation in the chrome-plated structure due to its age. The glass petals are in excellent condition, without cracks or other damages. The light is working. A Very RARE find from the 70s in great working condition - this is a Mazzega Lamp for Murano designed by Carlo Nason - I think it is designed for fitting to a wall or ceiling but I have it set on a table as a side lamp - no damage - light works fine but it is not fitted with an in line switch which makes me think originally is was for a ceiling/wall fitting - I have found other lamps by Carlo Nason using similar colours and white opaque and clear glass but I have not been able to find this lamp on line yet.
