Art & Lutherie Cedar Dreadnought left handed.
These are made in Canada, using local woods with A & L being part of the group that makes Simon & Patrick, Seagull, and Godin guitars. The same combination of woods are often used for these different product lines. The top is solid Cedar, with Wild Cherry back and sides, and the neck is Silver Leaf Maple. The bridge is rosewood and the compensated saddle is a good quality Tusq-like material, perhaps the genuine article given that it's made in Canada also. Most acoustics use mahogany for necks whereas here it's maple, and it may give some top end to the cedar sound which is mellower than spruce. Whereas spruce tops improve by "opening up" with playing and age, cedar already sounds broken in. There's one clearly visible smallish dent in the top, and a few much smaller ones, hardly visible.
