Our plastic shed bases offer a much more cost effective option than slabs or concrete and are extremely easy and fast to install.Sheds Comes in standard sizes: 6x4, 7 x 5, 8 x 6, and 10 x 8 Ex16 mm tongue and groove Shiplap used throughout. (comes out at a finished size of roughly 13mm) These sheds come standard in dip-treated Golden Brown base treatment. Superior T&G timber used throughout the building including the walls, roof and floor. (not cheap OSB or Chipboard). Single door with hasp and staple and top and bottom button. 38 x 38mm framing. Option of No Windows or Glazed Windows at no extra cost. Number of Windows varies on sizes (see pictures) Glass is 3mm thick horticultural glass as standard. Buildings are 2.03M high to the Apex and 1.65M high to the eves.Shed Bases Bases are formed using individual recycled plastic squares interlocked to form a suitable level, firm base for garden sheds.They have a 17 tonne point load and can be installed on either grass, gravel or empty areas.Each square is 500mmx500mmx40mm. They are fast and easy to install and are an attractive, cost effective option compared to slabs or concrete bases. Please see pictures for an example.DeliveryWe offer a nationwide delivery & installation service to mainland England & Wales on most of the buildings. Some buildings are supplied flat-packed for home installation and these are stated. Delivery is free if you live in the following counties; Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire. The delivery charge and availability varies to other areas so please contact for a quote if you are outside our local delivery area.Our standard local delivery only service is between 7-14 working days. Terms and Conditions of Installation & Treatment of Sheds 1. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the preparation of the base is the responsibility of the customer.The bases must be cleared, level and firm before delivery and the site must be free from overhanging branches and clear of other protrusions and obstructions. (does not apply if delivery only). 2. SHEDS At least 150mm MUST be allowed on each side of the building to allow it to be erected. (Does not apply if delivery only). 3.The customer shall provide safe, clear access to the site & in accordance with our written guidance 4. If these conditions are not met and the supplier is unable to erect the shed at the time of delivery, a re-visit charge will be made. 5.Merit Garden Products Ltd cannot accept liability in any cases where a garden building has been erected without the necessary planning permission or where building regulation rules have not been followed. 6. Dip-treated buildings – This is a single-dipped base treatment& it is recommended that the customer re-treats the building soon after delivery and then periodically to maintain the building in good condition. 7. Pressure- treated buildings- Whilst the pressure treated process wards from long term decay and insect attack we recommended that the customer adds some further treatment to the building in order to keeping looking nice more than anything. Pressure treated timber comes in a green-tinged type of colour and without additional treatment will naturally fade to a grey type of colour.
