this is an antique leather clad telescope. not entirely sure on age there are marks and dents on the item as pictures show. engraving reads: Adie 395 the Strand M.6.4.6 S7 Not quite sure what that means. the leather is very fragile and cracked in various places and some is missing altogether. still makes for a very interesting piece for display. the telescope measures 79cm in total length, but does come apart into different sections.
