Geology reference books, The range of geology literature I needed to own in order to gain a 2:1 BSc Degree in Geology. Covering modules in Chemistry, Engineering geology, Paleontology, Mapping, Geography, Geology, GIS, Statistics, Mining and minerals, Surveying above and underground. The collection includes Sedimentation of organic particles/Traverse, Sedimentary geology/Prothero, Schwab., Geological history of Britain and Ireland/Woodcock, Strachan., Foundations of engineering geology/Waltham., Reconstructing Quaternary environments/Lowe, Walker., The geology of Britain/Toghill., Sedimentary environments of facies/Reading., Hillslope materials and processes 2nd ed. Lowe and Walker., Fundamental Chemistry 2nd ed./ Rob Lewis, Wynne Evans., Various rocks and mineral books and the Dictionary of geology. I purchased this collection throughout my course as the uni library had waiting times for borrowers on the most popular ones so with my dissertation looming I bought my own, one of which cost $90. My dissertation involved the study of microfacies within strata of the Glamorgan coast which is the reason I needed my own copy of Sedimentation of organic particles. Good luck with your degree !! £, Cwmbran,.
