Antique Perdonium Victorian (?)- Coal Scuttle.

This is an antique (Victorian) perdonium in fairly good condition with the original metal inner bucket to hold coal inside it. The metal bucket has been lined with wallpaper at some time, so is fairly clean - we used it for newspapers etc. The front part of the perdonium hinges forward to access the coal. The perdoniun is probably made of walnut wood & has nice brass handles on each side. Measurements are:-Height 24 inches plus a 2 1/2 inch upstand at the back,16 inches wide & inches deep.
