late 19th century oak Davenport type Desk with leather inset writing slope. This pretty desk is finished with a shaped oak gallery top and stands on impressive pierced shaped support legs finished with tiny Brass casters. Antique Victorian (pine ?) tall desk with storage inside

A beautiful and unusual item. A tall desk with a hinged, sloped desk top with storage space inside and a small flat shelf along the back of the top with a lip to keep things in place; which is great for positioning items such as a light. Really wonderful for writing or for a writer/artist wanting to create a small corner at home to work in. Solid antique wood, I would guess Victorian, but that is a guess. I'm not sure what type of wood but it has a good weight to it. Needs to be seen to be properly appreciated. I am sad to be selling it but I don't have space to store it. Collection only. I bought it in an antique shop not far from here and am selling it for less than I paid, so I believe this is a good price for it. Antique Pine Glazed Dresser...Late Victorian...Stunning...

Late Victorian Pine Glazed Dresser Features a two door glazed top with one shelf and working key... Two drawers and a two door cupboard below with shelf, No key.... Condition is pretty good throughout with no damage, Gouges or nasty stains...Some woodworm have had a gathering in the bottom cupboard (see pics) its old worm that was there back when i first purchased the dresser but she has been thoroughly treated inside and out for buyers piece of mind....The glass has a couple of marks but nothing that stands out and still polishes up beautifully....I think the locks top and bottom are original but i cannot say the same for the cup handles, i think they were a later addition but they do look fantastic..Sits on back square feet and front turned bun feet....Overall condition is good...
