Victorian slate/marble French mantle clock with bell chimes

I have for sale an elegant Victorian black slate and red mottled marble mantle clock, having bell chime movement. The Clock strikes on a little bell once on each half hour and on the hour it chimes according to the time. On the French movement are markings GR inside an oval shape and impressed stamp marked with AD Mougin And five-pointed star. I have added pictures of the movement with and without the steel bell attached. Clock has been recently serviced and is keeping good time. The dial is clear and has decorative hands. There is opening front glazed bezel allowing access to winding holes. At the back there is also an opening door to gain access to pendulum and bell chime movement. Clock will be supplied with a winding key and will run for more than a week on a full wind. Approximate Dimensions - 29cms tall x 24 cms wide x 14 cms depth. For Collection only or you may arrange own courier at your own risk. We will package carefully but cannot guarantee couriers won't damage the clock and couriers will not compensate for damage to clocks, only cover loss protection. FOR SALE Elegant slate mantle clock. Golden roman numerals on black dial, with delicate, filigree carving to slate housing and other decorative features. Would benefit from a little cleaning and TLC but would form a striking centrepiece to any room. The winding key is missing and as it hasn't been used in 40 years the movement may need attention.
