Antique Longcase Clock, This wonderful 19th century longcase grandfather clock has a lovely mahogany case, The hood has a swan neck pediment with quality carved rosettes the door has a lining of satinwood with well turned and reeded columns either side, enclosed is a painted arch dial with date and seconds dial the eight day movement strikes the hour on a bell and has been serviced, Under you have the trunk door which is cross banded with mahogany with carved and reeded either side these match the hood ones, The base also has a cross banded edge with centre panel all supported by fretted carved feet, Circa Height " Width " Depth "

Superb Substantial Mahogany Westminster Chiming Bracket Clock, By Wuersch Fall River Massachusetts, the lovely brass dial centre Commemorates the USS Constellation launched The USS Constellation which held two notable "firsts" for the new USN service - the first USN vessel to be put to sea and the first to overtake an enemy vessel. Ordered on March 27th, , she was construction under the direction of David Stodder at the cost of over $ USD. She was launched on September 7th, and served under the nickname of "Yankee Racehorse". The full history can be viewed on the internet. The case is in excellent overall condition the clock chimes on the 1/4 hours playing Westminster Chimes on 5 rods and striking the hours, the lever escapement means there is no problem moving the clock or levelling, there is a lever to side of the dial to silence the chimes if required. The WUERSCH 2 Jewel movement is accessed by lifting and sliding out the back panel and the original instructions are stored behind complete with key. A beautiful clock which keeps good time. Antique Mahogany Cased Arch Topped Bracket Clock, Circa

Antique Mahogany cased arch topped bracket clock, with some lovely inlaid detailing, circa ’s. This clock is marked Made in England, but has a look of the German manufacturer Gustav Becker about it. The front has thick bevelled glass which opens to winding holes on the easy to see white dial. Below the dial is a lovely detailed inlay of a rough diamond shape with what looks like a crest of some sort. The clock is raised on brass bun feet. This used to belong to my grandparents. It has a nice sounding gong from what I remember though I haven’t tested it. I believe it still works, but it might need a little TLC to get it back into good working order. Certainly all the bits are there! The case in in very good solid condition. It comes with a winding key and pendulum. Approx. dimensions – Width at bottom 9” Height 12 ½” Depth from bottom 5” These are all approximate sizes. There is a slight etching on the back of the inside cover which from what I can make out says A M. A beautiful clock for someone to own.

Very Pretty Art Nouveau Antique Inlaid Mahogany Mantle Clock

This is a very nice quality antique inlaid Mahogany mantle clock. The clock is from the Art Nouveau period. The clock has very light wear and tear due to it being 100+ years old. The only real fault is a little piece of damage to the side edge(see pic). This has been done many years and doesn't notice unless you know its there. The clock uses an 8 day French striking movement. It strikes the hours and the half hours on a pleasant sounding gong. The clock stands approx. 13.5ins high,8.5ins wide and 5ins deep. The clock is in full working order and looks to have been serviced pretty recently. The clock comes complete with key and is ready to use. The clock can be viewed ticking away in our shop. Read more
