Superb Substantial Mahogany Westminster Chiming Bracket Clock, By Wuersch Fall River Massachusetts, the lovely brass dial centre Commemorates the USS Constellation launched The USS Constellation which held two notable "firsts" for the new USN service - the first USN vessel to be put to sea and the first to overtake an enemy vessel. Ordered on March 27th, , she was construction under the direction of David Stodder at the cost of over $ USD. She was launched on September 7th, and served under the nickname of "Yankee Racehorse". The full history can be viewed on the internet. The case is in excellent overall condition the clock chimes on the 1/4 hours playing Westminster Chimes on 5 rods and striking the hours, the lever escapement means there is no problem moving the clock or levelling, there is a lever to side of the dial to silence the chimes if required. Antique Mahogany Cased Arch Topped Bracket Clock, Circa

Antique Mahogany cased arch topped bracket clock, with some lovely inlaid detailing, circa ’s. This clock is marked Made in England, but has a look of the German manufacturer Gustav Becker about it. The front has thick bevelled glass which opens to winding holes on the easy to see white dial. Below the dial is a lovely detailed inlay of a rough diamond shape with what looks like a crest of some sort. The clock is raised on brass bun feet. This used to belong to my grandparents. It has a nice sounding gong from what I remember though I haven’t tested it. I believe it still works, but it might need a little TLC to get it back into good working order. Certainly all the bits are there! The case in in very good solid condition. It comes with a winding key and pendulum. Approx. dimensions – Width at bottom 9” Height 12 ½” Depth from bottom 5” These are all approximate sizes. There is a slight etching on the back of the inside cover which from what I can make out says A M. A beautiful clock for someone to own.

Beautiful Antique Astral 10" Fusee, Mahogany School Wall Clock A key wound english fusee driven wall clock, Stamped, Coventry, Astral, ... believed to be circa , with roman numerals, an 8 day movement, with a 10in dial. original english fusee, although the spring was replaced approx 25 years ago and the clock face needs a bit of tlc (shown in pictures). The mahogany case is in really good condition and nicely aged also the original 4 pegs holding the case are still intact. The brass bezel and glass are both in excellent condition.
