Antique leather campaign writing box manufactured by quality maker and retailer of antique writing boxes Allen Strand London Registered 25th November , with Bramah lock and a key. The Bramah lock design was created by Joseph Bramah in . This is the first known high security design. In good condition for age and military service. One of the writing plates has a crack at the bottom but has original writing on it and there are some creases in the leather in certain places. Collection only. Antique Stripped Pine Blanket box/ Toy box with Lock and Key. This Antique blanket storage box with hinged lid measures 32 Inch in length x 19 Inch in width x 18 Inch in height. It has a lock mechanism with key which may need adjustment to get lid to lock if required. Box is solid pine construction with ‘gap’ between pine boards on lid as can be seen in the pictures. Details about   Jewellery Box with Bramah lock

This is a jewellery box in relatively good condition, fitted with a Bramah lock and staple.  There is no key. The  lock is marked "Bramah" and the box "Mappin & Webb Ltd. Oxford St W". The top left of the lid is embossed with the initials "D S" in gold. You will see from the photos that there are two swing-out cantilevered trays, one on each side. Details about   Jewellery Box with Bramah lock

This is a damaged (ripe for renovation!) jewellery box, fitted with a Bramah lock and staple. The lock is marked "Bramah London". There is no key. You will see from the photos that there is a single hinged tray attached to the lid, and two swing-out cantilevered trays, one on each side. The main hinge runs the length of the back of the box. The top and bottom are bare wood, and so the whole box will need recovering. The lid has a crack (see photos) and there is no strap, although the mounts are there.
