Antique Chesterfield sofa.

This is an original late19th century sofa. Was upholstered 25 years ago but has been stored in a garage for several years and needs some tlc. Would be perfect for enthusiastic upholsterer / restoration project. In spite of it needing some attention it's still stylish and a solid piece of furniture. Dimensions: length: 177cm, width: 90cm, height: 75cm. Has short turned wooden legs at the front and short square block legs at the back. Buyer would have to collect. Antique Chesterfield Sofa

A lovely old sofa which has been re-upholstered about 2 years ago. The fabric on the seat has some discolouration from the sheepskin throw we have on it but I think it would come off if cleaned. The rest of the sofa is clean and looks really smart. The fabric is Villa Nova Soft Malmo Cobweb. The sofa is very comfortable but the seat will probably need re doing in about a year or two, depending on how much you use it. The legs have been treated for woodworm. It has been reupholstered in recent years and the dusky pink velvet is in excellent condition. May need reupholstering at some point though as the springs are very bouncy.
