This auction is for a rare   authentic ancient Roman bronze disk brooch dated 100 AD-300 AD (over years old).  This brooch has a fabulous  openwork  design with 13 loops, blue enamels rings, 6 white enamel dots and beautiful dark patina.  It is missing it pin, it is in very good condition.  Measures 30mm in length.  Found in Europe.  This brooch can be compared to a similar type is shown i n "Nigil Mills, Celtic & Roman Artefacts ", #RB109  (shown in picture 3).  Ancient soldiers would bury their valuable treasures before a big battle hoping to return later.  The items they didn't bury were often lost on the battlefield.  Unfortunately many soldiers were slaughtered, but they left behind many treasures for modern man to find.  All my artifacts are ancient as described, and guaranteed authentic.  Ask all questions before bidding.  S/H will be FREE WORLDWIDE.   All international packages are shipped with insurance.  Payment is due within 15 days of auction end.  I accept payment by mail, ask about payment options.  Payment must clear before item will be shipped.  E-mail me with questions.  Happy bidding.  Don't forget to check out my other auctions for more great deals on Ancient Jewelry.
