He would stay in power for fifteen years, in which he implemented great cultural, economic and political changes. He was the first who let himself be addressed as emperor and god. Because of his tyrannical way of ruling, he was hated by the Senate. A conspiracy, in which his successor Nerva was probably involved, cost him his life. Read More
