Update: Thankfully Tiger has now found the perfect home and perfect owners. Many thanks indeed to all of those who contacted me. A heartbreaking decision but due to a change in my circumstances I have no choice but to put my own feelings aside and rehome my 7 year old pedigree bengal Tigerlily for her own happiness and wellbeing. She was formerly a breeding Queen and came to me aged 2 years (no papers) whereupon I had her vet-checked, fully vaccinated and spayed. The vet declared her to be 'in rude health'. I have since taken her to an annual health check with my veterinary practice and she has never had any health problems during the 5 years she's been in my care. I have regularly flea treated her with frontline. I have not kept her vaccinations up to date, as she has lived indoors and not had any contact with other animals or cause to stay in a cattery. Although she is of very small size, Tiger has an enormous personality and is the most affectionate and attentive cat I have ever known. She is great with infants and small children, she is also very fond of cat-friendly dogs. However, it is imperative that she is rehomed as the only adult cat in the household. She is extremely cuddly, loves spending the evening on a warm lap and even enjoys being picked up and carried around, which many cats deem a step too far! She has always lived as an indoor cat, however I'm sure she may enjoy access to a garden, provided it was far from a main road. She always uses a litter tray and is impeccably house-trained, it has been a great relief to me that she has left all my soft furnishings intact. Tigerlily comes with 2 beds, a blanket, a scratching post, assorted toys, litter tray/scoops, cat carrier, feeding bowls and whatever food I have in stock on her departure. Read More

She is untested around dogs and ideally I think she would enjoy being the only adult cat in the household.
