3yr old girl, loves long walks in country/wooded areas, and also jogs a long happily beside you if you're a runner! Doesn't like cats. She was with another family member as a puppy but they really struggled with her so we took her on about 6 months ago. We have put alot of time and energy into helping her be a happy dog, and some of the changes are remarkable but as we have no experience of this breed we are at a stage where we know she needs more. We feel she needs a home with similar breed, altho she does tolerate oyr old lab and someone with a little more time as we both work fulltime. She can be very affectionate when she wants to be, housetrained and will let you know when she needs out, loves a cuddle on the sofa! Really needs more socialising with other dogs and work on recall when off lead. Rio is a 3 year old Fluff ball looking for a new forever home due to work commitments he is just not getting the life he needs, he has been with us since he was 4 months old so as you can imagine this is a very sad and difficult decision for our family. He is very friendly but also very independent, he doesn't like constant attention sometimes he just likes to rest by himself. He is very territorial when it comes to Food and his home environment but he is absolutely fine when being walked. Rio would be best suited as the only dog of the house. Rio is a loud dog, he likes to sing along (howl) to music and will bark when someone (new) approaches the house - this can be intimidating for people who don't know him but he's actually just saying hello!. She will be ideal for couples and families who can give her a lot of time and attention. A garden and a lot of energy is required. A tired Malamute is a happy Malamute. Honey is a very energetic and loving dog. She loves human. She get attached very easily. She is of an amazing temperament. She loves to play, cuddle, and be around human all the time. She can play day and night and loves to sleep. Food wise she is not fussy at all. It will take her sometime to get used to dry and wet dog food as currently she is on homemade food and twice a month on Barf Diet. She will beg for human food and sometimes very tiny proportion of human food can be given to her as a reward for being a good girl. She will get confused where to pee/potty in a new environment therefore retraining might or not be needed. She loves being brushed and needs brushing once a day at least. She hates indoor showers, outdoor showers are more preferred by her. She likes to get her teeth brushed too (only with dog toothpaste). If she really loves you She might silently jump up and snuggle up with you in your bed while you are sleeping. Please note: we are re-homing Honey NOT because she is not wanted. We love her to bits and always will. Very reluctant sale due to ill health. Oscar is 3years 10month old Alaskan malamute, needs an A* home where he can get lots of love and attention - mainly cuddles, lots of cuddles - plenty of exercise, and ideally somewhere with a garden, as he loves being outside during the day! Great with children and other dogs (although may need to be introduced a couple times if wanting to share a home with another dog mainly due to other dogs being scared of him!! Poor Oscar doesn't seem to understand how big he is!) He really is a big friendly giant and will become a loyal member of the family, I can't emphasise how heartbroken we are to be rehoming so will be wanting to ensure he's going to a good home. He's not particularly vocal for his breed preferring to grumble at you as his version of talking rather than any bark or howl - not a guard dog, loves people too much and does not attempt to bark at any passers by or post men. Flead and wormed regularly. Not neutered but will be microchipped before going to a new home.
