3yo Alaskan Malamute, Looking for a new forever home

Rio is a 3 year old Fluff ball looking for a new forever home due to work commitments he is just not getting the life he needs, he has been with us since he was 4 months old so as you can imagine this is a very sad and difficult decision for our family. He is very friendly but also very independent, he doesn't like constant attention sometimes he just likes to rest by himself. He is very territorial when it comes to Food and his home environment but he is absolutely fine when being walked. Rio would be best suited as the only dog of the house. Rio is a loud dog, he likes to sing along (howl) to music and will bark when someone (new) approaches the house - this can be intimidating for people who don't know him but he's actually just saying hello!. Rio isn't too keen on car journeys but he is calm once you've managed to get him in the car!. He is fully house trained but can have the occasional accident if he gets too giddy. Read more

3yr old girl, loves long walks in country/wooded areas, and also jogs a long happily beside you if you're a runner! Doesn't like cats. She was with another family member as a puppy but they really struggled with her so we took her on about 6 months ago. We have put alot of time and energy into helping her be a happy dog, and some of the changes are remarkable but as we have no experience of this breed we are at a stage where we know she needs more. We feel she needs a home with similar breed, altho she does tolerate oyr old lab and someone with a little more time as we both work fulltime. She can be very affectionate when she wants to be, housetrained and will let you know when she needs out, loves a cuddle on the sofa! Really needs more socialising with other dogs and work on recall when off lead.
