I am quite new to chickens and we can't have a cockrel due to noise and elderly neighbors, I have a verryy broody chicken who has been sitting in the nest (without eggs) for 24 days now, can anyone tell me if she is likely to stay broody if I put fertile eggs under her or will she likely give up after a few days?
