Adult Female Dark Axolotl
This Axolotl is black in colour and has some 8 small white patches on its face, and is bred by myself. She is 5 years old and its front right foot is dislocated in that it faces upwards towards its gills but does not cause any problems at all. ---------- Axolotls are extinct in the wild and only way you can see them now is through captive breeding. They are simple to look after, all you need is a rectangular tank an ideal size is minimum of 60cm x 30cm x 30cm, cold water, water declorinator, live earthworms for food and a cave for it to hide in. I prefer not to use Filters as they like the water as still as possible so manual changes of water is best. I am unable to post them out to you so will be collection only from the M9 area of Manchester.
