A Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Two Door Bookcase Cabinet Astrical Glazed A Victorian Inlaid mahogany two door Bookcase, set with astrical glazed doors. The bookcase cabinet is made from mahogany which has a great colour and grain patination. The cabinet is formed with it being Inlaid around the edge of the doors with Satinwood stringing. Around the edge there is some satinwood and ebony banding. Around the top there is a satinwood and ebony banding. The two doors of the cabinet are astrical glazed with shaped sections off glass. Opening the two doors it is set with two shelves which are adjustable to many positions. On the back of each door it has a brass bar at the top and bottom for hanging cloth to cover the doors if wished. The cabinet dates to around . Size Height 42” Width 36” Depth ” Condition The condition of the cabinet is excellent, it has a couple of light scuffs and marks. There is a small piece of inlay missing on the top. A Quality Early Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Astrical Glazed Bow Fronted Corner Cupboard A good quality early Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Astrical glazed bow fronted corner unit. The cabinet is made from mahogany which has a good colour and grain. The base section of the cupboard is formed with it being bow fronted and set with two full length doors. Each door is Inlaid with satinwood stringing around the edge and a corner motif of flowers, leaves and ribbons. There is also a larger inlaid section to the centre of the door which is similar of flowers, leaves and ribbons. Opening the two doors on the base it is set with fixed shelves. The top section is formed with it also being bow fronted. The two doors are all Astrical glazed with shaped pieces of wood. To the top it has a shaped top. The inside of the cabinet is set with three fixed shelves. The top section has stringing around the doors, and edge of the cabinet. The cabinet comes with its original key. It splits into two sections for ease of moving. The cabinet dates to around . Antique 2 door glazed bookcase/display cabinet with Queen Ann cabriole legs

This is an antique 2 door glazed bookcase / display cabinet with shaped top and cabriole Queen Ann style legs. This is a lovely antique piece, that is full of age charm and character but it is very old so it would benefit from some TLC. We wanted to be restored it to its former glory, but moved house and now there is not enough space for it. This bookcase has been in the family for many generations. Curving dominates all aspects of its design. There are two large dome toped glazed doors. Behind the doors there are three adjustable shelves for storage of many books. The height is 130cm, the width is 110cm and the depth is 28cm. Condition: This is a genuine antique piece of furniture. Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are some defects, but it looks good, it is solid, clean and fully usable. There is no woodworm. This is from a smoke and pet free house. Defects: •The left legs plinth has been repaired. It was done quite unprofessionally and the nails were used. However this does not impact on the stability of the bookcase. When there are books, the nails cannot be even seen. •There is an "ancient" crack at the back panel on the right side- pictures show it. • The right door is of a slightly lighter colour than the left door.
