Late Victorian hand carved oak fire surround featuring original tiles below the mantel piece.

This late Victorian oak fire surround was removed from a late Georgian house during a recent renovation. It features a row of original tiles situated beneath the mantelpiece and detailed hand carving of oak leaves towards both the left and right corners. It can be easily transported as it can be disassembled into 3 main parts! It is in good condition especially considering its age, see pictures. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit

VICTORIAN CARVED OAK MIRROR ON CAST IRON BASE STAND, VERY RARE & UNUSUAL, c

This is a very rare and unusual carved oak mirror on cast iron base/stand. It has cast iron neck and surround to the mirror, and a thick solid oak central pole to the body. It has dimensions of 74" in height x 26" width (to the mirror), and 20" width to the cast iron base. The only real aspect of any blemish with this item is that the oak body pole leans slightly to one side - this is due to the thread where the body slots onto the base is in need of some attention, and the thread has worn down and this causes it to not slot into place as it should. The cast iron base is also slightly rusted (see pictures), but otherwise there is no further blemishes to mention, and overall it is in very good solid condition. This pretty desk is finished with a shaped oak gallery top and stands on impressive pierced shaped support legs finished with tiny Brass casters.
